Charging port and power repair
Depending on the configuration this charges through a round socket, USB-C or both. We test the adapter, the port and the charging circuit to find which has failed.
SSD and storage upgrade
The Dell Pro 14 Premium takes an M.2 SSD. We clone the existing drive to a larger one so Windows, programs and files carry over unchanged.

Memory
Memory in the Dell Pro 14 Premium is soldered and cannot be upgraded. It is worth knowing this before paying anyone for a memory upgrade.
Windows repair and reinstall
The Dell Pro 14 Premium shipped with Windows 11. We repair start-up faults, reinstall Windows cleanly with your files kept, and remove malware.
We also carry out keyboard and trackpad repair, motherboard repair, liquid damage repair, overheating and fan repair, hinge and casing repair, virus removal on the Dell Pro 14 Premium, along with USB, HDMI and audio port repair, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card replacement, webcam and speaker faults, BIOS password removal with proof of ownership and data transfer to a new machine.
What we see on the bench
- In 2025 Dell replaced the Inspiron, Latitude and Precision names with Dell, Dell Pro and Dell Pro Max, and the XPS name returned in 2026. The model code on the base label, not the marketing name, is what we match parts to.
- Memory is soldered on the thinner models in this range and slotted on others, so we check the exact configuration before quoting an upgrade.
- These are recent machines, and many are still inside the manufacturer’s warranty. Check that first, as a warranty repair costs you nothing.
Data recovery from the Dell Pro 14 Premium
The SSD in the Dell Pro 14 Premium can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.

Questions
Can the SSD or memory in the Dell Pro 14 Premium be upgraded?
The SSD can be replaced with a larger M.2 drive. Memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded.
My Dell Pro 14 Premium will not turn on. Is my data lost?
Usually not. The drive is separate from the fault in most cases, and we can remove it and copy your files even if the machine itself is not worth repairing.
Is my Dell Pro 14 Premium still under warranty?
It may be. Machines from 2025 are often still inside the manufacturer's warranty, which covers faults but not accidental damage such as a cracked screen or a spill. Check that first; we repair what the warranty does not cover.
Where do I find the model number on my laptop?
The model name is on the base label or palm rest. The 7-character Service Tag on the base identifies the exact build. For this model, look for PA14250.
