Finding your Dell model number
The model name is on the base label or palm rest. The 7-character Service Tag on the base identifies the exact build. If you cannot find it, call 020 7237 6805 and describe the machine; we can usually identify it from the label or a photo.
Repairs, upgrades and data recovery
Each model page lists the repairs that apply to that machine and says plainly what can and cannot be upgraded. Starting prices for the most common jobs:
