Repairs we carry out on the HP Pavilion x360 14-cd
Touchscreen replacement
The 14-inch touchscreen is bonded to its glass, so cracked glass, dead touch and display faults are all fixed by replacing the bonded panel.

Charging port and power repair
Depending on the configuration this charges through a round socket, USB-C or both. We test the adapter, the port and the charging circuit to find which has failed.
SSD and storage upgrade
The HP Pavilion x360 14-cd takes an M.2 SSD. We clone the existing drive to a larger one so Windows, programs and files carry over unchanged.

Memory upgrade
Most configurations of the HP Pavilion x360 14-cd have SODIMM memory slots, so memory can be increased. We check what is fitted and the maximum the board supports.
Windows repair and reinstall
The HP Pavilion x360 14-cd meets Microsoft’s Windows 11 requirements in most configurations. We upgrade from Windows 10, which reached end of support in October 2025, or reinstall Windows 11 cleanly with your files kept.
Battery replacement
We replace the internal battery and check the charging circuit and adapter at the same time. On a 2018 machine a worn battery is the likely cause of short runtime, and we measure its capacity before recommending anything else.
Price confirmed before work starts
We also carry out keyboard and trackpad repair, motherboard repair, liquid damage repair, overheating and fan repair, hinge and casing repair, virus removal on the HP Pavilion x360 14-cd, along with USB, HDMI and audio port repair, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card replacement, webcam and speaker faults, BIOS password removal with proof of ownership and data transfer to a new machine.
Notes from the workshop
- The 360-degree hinges carry more load than a normal laptop hinge and loosen or seize with age.
- The touchscreen is bonded to the glass, so a crack usually means replacing the whole display assembly.
