Repairs we carry out on the HP Envy x360 15-ew
Touchscreen replacement
Glass, touch layer and display are one bonded 15.6-inch part. We replace it as a unit and test touch and pen input before it leaves.

Charging port and power repair
We replace worn charging sockets and repair USB-C ports and charging circuits at component level. The adapter is tested first, because it is the cheapest thing to be wrong.
SSD and storage upgrade
The HP Envy x360 15-ew takes an M.2 SSD. We clone the existing drive to a larger one so Windows, programs and files carry over unchanged.

Memory upgrade
Whether memory can be upgraded on the HP Envy x360 15-ew depends on the exact configuration. We check against the serial number before quoting.
Windows repair and reinstall
The HP Envy x360 15-ew shipped with Windows 11. We repair start-up faults, reinstall Windows cleanly with your files kept, and remove malware.
Battery replacement
We replace the internal battery and check the charging circuit and adapter at the same time. On a 2022 machine a worn battery is the likely cause of short runtime, and we measure its capacity before recommending anything else.
Price confirmed before work starts
We also carry out keyboard and trackpad repair, motherboard repair, liquid damage repair, overheating and fan repair, hinge and casing repair, virus removal on the HP Envy x360 15-ew, along with USB, HDMI and audio port repair, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card replacement, webcam and speaker faults, BIOS password removal with proof of ownership and data transfer to a new machine.
Notes from the workshop
- The touchscreen and glass are a bonded unit and are replaced together.
- The 360-degree hinges on the Envy x360 are a recurring failure point; a stiff hinge can crack the glass.
Data recovery from the HP Envy x360 15-ew
The SSD in the HP Envy x360 15-ew can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.
