We repair the Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-591G at our workshop in Bermondsey, from cracked screens and worn batteries to board faults and data recovery. It is a 15.6-inch laptop from 2015. Both the drive and, on most configurations, the memory can be upgraded, which makes it a good candidate for a refresh.

Repairs we carry out on the Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-591G
Screen replacement

Windows repair and reinstall
This model does not meet Microsoft’s Windows 11 requirements, and Windows 10 reached end of support in October 2025. We can advise on the realistic options, including a lightweight Linux or ChromeOS Flex installation.
Battery replacement
A new internal battery is fitted and tested through a full charge and discharge. At this age, short runtime and sudden shutdowns usually point to a worn battery and not a board fault.

Charging port and power repair
A charger that only works at a certain angle means a worn charging socket. We replace it and test the charging circuit behind it.
SSD and storage upgrade
The Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-591G has an M.2 slot and, on some configurations, a 2.5-inch bay. Machines that shipped with a hard drive are much faster once moved to an SSD.

Memory upgrade
Most configurations of the Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-591G have SODIMM memory slots, so memory can be increased. We check what is fitted and the maximum the board supports.
We also carry out keyboard and trackpad repair, motherboard repair, liquid damage repair, overheating and fan repair, hinge and casing repair, virus removal on the Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-591G, along with USB, HDMI and audio port repair, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card replacement, webcam and speaker faults, BIOS password removal with proof of ownership and data transfer to a new machine.
What we see on the bench
- Aspire hinges are mounted in plastic and are a frequent repair once they stiffen.
- Acer model numbers such as A515-56 identify the exact chassis; the suffix letters after them matter for screens and motherboards.
- Many Aspire models have an M.2 slot and room for a 2.5-inch drive, sometimes needing a cable kit.
