Known issues with the Yoga range
- Memory is soldered on most Yoga and Yoga Slim models.
- The touchscreen is a bonded assembly and is replaced as one part.
- Yoga 360-degree hinges loosen or seize over time, and a stiff hinge can crack the display glass.
Data recovery from the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition 15ILL9
The SSD in the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition 15ILL9 can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.
