Charging port and power repair
We replace worn charging sockets and repair USB-C ports and charging circuits at component level. The adapter is tested first, because it is the cheapest thing to be wrong.
SSD and storage upgrade
The Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G4 IAP takes an M.2 SSD. We clone the existing drive to a larger one so Windows, programs and files carry over unchanged.

Known issues with the ThinkBook range
- USB-C charging faults are the common board repair.
- ThinkBooks combine consumer-style chassis with business features; most have a replaceable SSD, and memory is part-soldered on many.
Data recovery from the Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G4 IAP
The SSD in the Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G4 IAP can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.
