Known issues with the IdeaPad range
- Hinge mounts on IdeaPad and Flex models can break away from the lid or base, especially on thinner chassis.
- Lenovo’s model codes, such as 15ITL6 or 14ALC05, identify the exact generation and processor family, which is what we match parts to.
- Many IdeaPads have some memory soldered and one slot free; some have none free.
Data recovery from the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 14IMH9
The SSD in the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 14IMH9 can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.
