Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s repairs and upgrades
Power supply repair
A mini PC that shows no signs of life often has a failed external power adapter. We test with a known-good adapter before looking at the board.
SSD and storage upgrade
The Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s has room for SATA drives and, on most boards, an M.2 SSD. The usual upgrade is an SSD for Windows and programs with the old drive kept for storage.
Price confirmed before work starts
Memory upgrade
The Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s uses standard desktop memory. We check the board’s limits and fit matched modules.
Windows repair and reinstall
The Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s shipped with Windows 11. We repair start-up faults, reinstall Windows cleanly with your files kept, and remove malware.
We also carry out motherboard repair, overheating and fan repair, virus removal on the Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s, along with no-picture and no-boot diagnosis, port repair, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card replacement and data transfer to a new PC.
Known issues with the ThinkCentre range
- Tower and Small Form Factor models use Lenovo-specific power supplies, matched to the exact machine type.
- ThinkCentre Tiny machines use an external power adapter and laptop-style memory; many that seem dead only need a new adapter.
Data recovery from the Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s

Questions
Can the SSD or memory in the Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s be upgraded?
Drives can be added or replaced. Memory uses standard slots and can be increased.
My Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s will not turn on. Is my data lost?
Usually not. The drive is separate from the fault in most cases, and we can remove it and copy your files even if the machine itself is not worth repairing.
How much does it cost to repair a Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s?
Price confirmed before work starts. The exact figure depends on the part your machine needs, and we confirm it before any work starts.
Where do I find the model number on my mini PC?
The model is on a label on the back, side or underside of the machine. For this model, look for 50s.
