Known issues with the HP All-in-One, EliteOne and ProOne range
- A black screen with the PC still running usually points to the panel or its backlight.
- HP all-in-ones use laptop-style components behind the display, which is removed to reach most parts.
Data recovery from the HP ProOne 600 G6 All-in-One
The SSD in the HP ProOne 600 G6 All-in-One can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.

Questions
Can the SSD or memory in the HP ProOne 600 G6 All-in-One be upgraded?
The M.2 SSD can be replaced, and some configurations also have a 2.5-inch bay. Memory is in slots on most configurations and can be increased.
My HP ProOne 600 G6 All-in-One will not turn on. Is my data lost?
Usually not. The drive is separate from the fault in most cases, and we can remove it and copy your files even if the machine itself is not worth repairing.
Is a 2020 HP ProOne 600 G6 All-in-One still worth repairing?
It depends on the fault. A battery, SSD or charging socket is usually worth doing. A major board repair on an older machine may cost more than the machine is worth, and if that is the case we will say so.
Where do I find the model number on my all-in-one PC?
The model is on a label on the back, side or underside of the machine. For this model, look for 600 G6.
