What goes wrong with Transcend drives
- StoreJet rugged portables contain a standard 2.5-inch laptop drive, which can be removed and read directly when the enclosure's USB board fails.

Questions
Can you recover a Transcend drive that is no longer detected?
Often, yes. A drive that is not detected usually has an electronic or firmware fault, and the data behind it is intact. We confirm what is recoverable, and the price, before recovery starts.
Does the Transcend warranty cover data recovery?
Usually not. Most warranties replace the drive without recovering what was on it, and the faulty drive is not returned. Some drives are sold with a data recovery plan, so check yours. Either way, recover the data before sending a drive back.
