What goes wrong with ADATA drives

• When an ADATA SSD stops being detected or reports a tiny capacity, the controller has usually dropped into its safe mode. The data is normally still on the memory chips.

Can you recover a ADATA drive that is no longer detected?

Often, yes. A drive that is not detected usually has an electronic or firmware fault, and the data behind it is intact. We confirm what is recoverable, and the price, before recovery starts.

Does the ADATA warranty cover data recovery?

Usually not. Most warranties replace the drive without recovering what was on it, and the faulty drive is not returned. Some drives are sold with a data recovery plan, so check yours. Either way, recover the data before sending a drive back.
